Professor Andrzej Górak from the Faculty of Process Engineering and Environmental Protection of the Lodz University of Technology received the Order of Merit of North Rhine-Westphalia. For a quarter of a century the professor has been involved in the organization of cooperation between scientific organizations in the Land of North Rhine-Westphalia and Poland.

Professor Andrzej Górak is a well-known and respected scientist in the field of chemical engineering, as well as a propagator of Polish science and an enthusiast of the idea of international cooperation. He is particularly involved in the Polish-German cooperation of scientific institutions and industrial organizations.
