Professor Dr Barbara Kożusznik, head of the Department of Work and Work Psychology at the Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology of the University of Silesia, became the president of Division 1 International Association of Applied Psychology (IAAP).
IAAP is the largest and oldest international organization of psychologists, and its largest section is Division 1 – a section of work and organizational psychology. The main goal of the section associating psychologists from most countries of the world is to influence the policy of international organizations e.g. the United Nations, the World Health Organization and International Labor Organization.
Professor Kożusznik specializes in organization and management psychology. She is the author or co-author of 16 monographs and over 100 scientific articles devoted to the issues of managing, improving the work of employee teams and developing and improving the effectiveness of operations.
