The world-famous mathematician Prof. Frédéric Dias from University College Dublin will be the guest of the next meeting at the Interdisciplinary Scientific Seminar at the Wrocław University of Science and Technology. On May 14, the scientist will give a lecture on “The fascination of ocean waves”.
Professor Dias is a mathematician and world leader in research in the field of fluid dynamics. He deals with the analysis of such topics as dispersal wave equations, tsunamis, wave impacts in objects and buildings or widely understood ocean energy.
Meeting with Prof. Dias is open to all participants that apply for it via the Evenea.pl website. The lecture will be conducted in English and simultaneously translated into Polish.
The Interdisciplinary Scientific Seminar is a program addressed to a wide range of recipients: students, PhD students, researchers interested in deepening knowledge of exact sciences.
