On Wednesday, December 12, 2018, the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University (UMCS) in Lublin is holding the ceremony of awarding the title of doctor honoris causa UMCS to Prof. Jerzy Marian Brzezinski – a psychologist, professor of the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań.

Professor Brzeziński is a psychologist, specializes in methodology, psychological diagnosis and ethics of scientific research. He is a member of the Polish Academy of Sciences. For many years he has been the dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, director of the Institute of Psychology and head of the Department of Psychological Research at the University of Adam Mickiewicz in Poznań.

Professor Brzeziński is a member of the Central Commission for Degrees and Titles. He published many scientific papers, including: “Methodology of psychological research” and “Experimental research in psychology and pedagogy”.
