Professor Eng. Jerzy Sobczak from the Department of Foundry of the AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow was nominated as a member of the Management Committee of the European Action COST, at the request of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education.

COST (The European Cooperation in Science and Technology) provides funding for the creation of research networks called COST activities.
These networks offer open space for collaboration between scientists across Europe (and beyond), and thus give impetus to research and innovation. Researchers can create a network based on their own interests and research ideas in any field of science.
