Professor Jolanta Choińska-Mika, Vice-Rector for Student Affairs and Quality of Education of the University of Warsaw (UW), was re-elected to the 5-member Steering Committee of the Network of UNIversities from Capitals of Europe (UNICA).
UNICA is an association of 51 universities from 37 European capitals. At these universities 160,000 teachers are educating currently1.9 million students. The goal of the UNICA network established in 1990 is to promote academic excellence, integration and cooperation between member universities throughout Europe.
UNICA represents the position of member universities in the negotiations with European institutions, national, regional and local authorities.
Professor Jolanta Choińska-Mika is a professor at the Institute of History of the University of Warsaw. She is a researcher in the history of early modern Europe, the history of parliament and political culture.
