Professor Arkadiusz Tofil was re-elected as the rector of the State Higher Vocational School (PWSZ) in Chełm. Professor Tofil was the only candidate for the rector’s chair for the 2020-2024 term.
This will be his second term as rector of the PWSZ in Chełm. Earlier, in the years 2008–2016, he was Vice-Rector for Development and Cooperation with Foreign Countries.
Dr Eng. Arkadiusz Tofil is a graduate of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the Lublin University of Technology, where in 2000 he graduated from mechanics and machine construction. He also obtained his PhD in 2008 and in 2017 he obtained the title of habilitated doctor.
In 2002 he started working at the State Higher Vocational School in Chełm. He was an assistant doctor and then an assistant professor at the Institute of Technical Sciences and Aviation. From 2017 he is a professor of the PWSZ. In parallel, from October 2008 he was employed as an adjunct, and from 2018 – as a professor at the Lublin University of Technology in the Department of Computer Modeling and Plastic Processing Technology.
