Professor Wojciech Golusiński – head of the Clinic of Head, Neck and Laryngological Surgery at the Poznan University of Medical Sciences has been elected President of the European Head and Neck Society (EHNS) – informs the university on its website.

EHNS brings together doctors who in everyday practice deal with head and neck cancer – laryngologists, head and neck surgeons, maxillofacial surgeons, oncological surgeons, plastic surgeons, radiotherapists, clinical oncologists, radiologists and pathologists.
The organization also includes speech therapists, physiotherapists, oncology nurses, psychologists, dietitians and social workers as well as patient organizations supporting patients with head and neck cancer at every stage of treatment. The main goals of EHNS are to popularize knowledge about head and neck cancer and to support the highest standards of scientific research, education, prevention, treatment and care of patients.
