Professor Zbigniew Koruba was elected as rector of the Kielce University of Technology for the 2020-2024 term.

Professor Eng. Zbigniew Koruba is a graduate of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the Kiev Institute of Civil Aviation Engineers. He graduated with honors in 1982. In 1990 he presented his doctoral dissertation on Automation and robotics and in 2001 he received the title of Associated Professor in Mechanics), and in 2010 he became a professor of technical sciences.

He has been worked for the Kielce University of Technology since 1984. In the current term he has been the Vice-Rector for Research and Cooperation with Industry. Earlier, for four years he was the dean of the Faculty of Mechatronics and Machine Building. Since 2006, he has been the head of the Department of Computer Techniques and Armaments.

Professor Zbigniew Koruba is a member of the Scientific Council of the Air Force Institute of Technology, the Expert Committee for Innovation and Implementation of “MESKO” and the Kielce Scientific Society.
