The General Congress of the Polish Society of Political Sciences (PTNP) held at the Faculty of Political Sciences and International Studies of the University of Warsaw chose the president and members of the main board.

For the second term of 2020-2022, Prof. Arkadiusz Żukowski, director of the Institute of Political Sciences of the University of Warmia and Mazury (UWM) in Olsztyn became the president of PTNP.

The Polish Society of Political Sciences was founded in November 1957. It associates approx. 500 members organized in 20 national branches and 12 science sections. It is a member of the Central European, pan-European and world organization of political scientists including Central European Political Science Association, European Confederation of Political Science Associations and International Political Science Association, as well as the European research consortium European Consortium for Political Research.
