Three professors of the Pomeranian Medical University in Szczecin (PUM) became the most influential scholars in Polish medicine. “List of a hundred” has been publishing by the Pulse of Medicine for 16 years.
Prof. Mieczysław Walczak MD, head of the Department of Paediatrics, Endocrinology, Diabetology, Metabolic Diseases and Age Cardiology took the 42 place.
Prof. Jan Lubiński MD, head of the Department of Genetics and Pathomorphology of the PUM Department of Oncology, head of the International Center for Neutral Cancer in PUM was 65th in the list.
Prof. Bogusław Machaliński MD, rector of PUM, head of the Department of Physiology and General Pathology, and head of the Department of Marrow Transplantation, Department of Hematology and Transplantology was 92nd.
Candidates were evaluated in three categories: achievements and accomplishments in 2018; professional reputation and influence in the environment and the power of public influence.
