Experts from the Medical University of Wrocław and the University Clinical Hospital in Wrocław want to reduce the risk of coronavirus infection among healthcare professionals. For this purpose, they have been implemented SARS-CoV-2 infection awareness program in the hospital.

The creators of the program want to achieve their goal by raising awareness – training of medical, research and teaching staff, assuring early recognition and interruption of emerging epidemic outbreaks and ongoing analysis and cooperation with experts.

They will organize a series of meetings with employees aimed at ongoing analysis of the local epidemiological situation, completed actions and possibilities to increase the effectiveness of risk mitigation. Experts also want to use evidence-based practice to raise awareness and reduce infections, and to develop effective mechanisms for controlling and educating staff.
