The project of scientists of the University of Economics in Wrocław “Identification, verification, measurement and testing of the features of coopetition relations and their impact on the efficiency of cooperating competitors” will be financed under the Opus 20 competition of the National Science Center. The researchers’ goal will identify the features of the relationship of cooperation with competitors and the development phases.
The subject of the research includes also the influence of the characteristics of the coopetition relation on the financial and non-financial efficiency of cooperating competitors. The research will be carried out in 1,200 industrial enterprises divided into high-tech companies, medium high-tech, low-tech and medium low-tech.
The proposed research is of a mixed nature – it combines elements of exploration and explanation of phenomena and involves the use of complementary methods and techniques of qualitative and quantitative research. The head of the research team is Dr Patrycja Klimas, the Wrocław University of Economics.
