An educational project Erasmus + under the Strategic Partnerships “Towards a European framework of reference for translation (EFFORT)”, in which the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona is the coordinator and the philology department of the University of Wrocław is a partner, received three-year funding – starting from September 2020.

The project consists in developing a European system for describing translation education at levels A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2, similar to the European System for the Description of Language Education.

In the project, the philology department of the Wrocław university will cooperate with eight leading European universities: Université de Genève (Switzerland), The University of Westminster (Great Britain), Universidad de Granada (Spain), Aarhus Universitet (Denmark), Universiteit Utrecht (the Netherlands), Univerza v Ljubljani (Slovenia), Universitatea Alexandru Ioan Cuza din Iaşi (Romania), Itä-Suomen Yliopisto (Finland).
