Thanks to the funding obtained from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, the Medical University of Gdansk will soon start the implementation of two projects aimed at disseminating the history of medicine and the scientific achievements of employees.

Both projects are planned for two years. The goal of the project “Science is people. Promotion of scientific achievements and scientific careers on the example of employees of the Medical University of Gdańsk” provides for the popularization of scientific research carried out by university employees and showing an academic career as an interesting and attractive development path for young people.

The second project “Future through the past – a story about the development of medicine” will launch a Virtual Museum of the Medical University of Gdańsk, allowing online to see selected exhibits in the Museum’s collections, learn about the history and the role of individual medical fields in the history.
