The four projects of the University of Gdańsk were qualified for receiving funding as part of the National Science Center SHENG 1 program for Polish-Chinese research projects.
Qualified projects are “Development and analysis of highly efficient, complex gallium-ion, bifunctional antibacterial compounds with photosensitizing properties” by Dr Mariusz Stanisław Grinholec; “LPCAT substrate specificity from photosynthesising single-cell algae accumulating oils, in forward and backward reactions and characteristics of their functions in the acyl phosphatidylcholine group” by Prof. Antoni Banaś, “Application of new experimental approaches to characterize the balance between helper T lymphocytes (Th17) and regulatory T lymphocytes (Treg), necessary for antitumor immune response” by Dr Zhi Jane Chen and “Towards a simpler quantum test” by Dr Marcin Pawłowski.
