The Jagiellonian University (UJ) in Krakow was 338th, and the University of Warsaw (UW) was 349th in the world in the latest QS World University Ranking.

Both Polish universities have achieved better positions compared to last year. In 2019 UJ was 411th, and UW took 394th place.

Among the thousand best world universities in the QS World University Ranking 2020 also includes: Warsaw University of Technology in 521-530 places and University of Wrocław, University of Lodz and the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń in positions 801-1000.

The winners of the ranking have been consistently for several years American universities: Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Stanford University and Harvard University.
