Silesian Governor Jarosław Wieczorek and Rector of the University of Silesia Prof. Andrzej Kowalczyk signed a partnership agreement for the project “Support for the integration of foreigners in the Silesian voivodeship”.

The aim of the project financed by the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (FAMI) is to help in the integration of foreigners who are not citizens of the European Union, staying in Poland in order to study, conduct scientific research or development work or do business.

The assumptions of the project will be implemented through: organization of courses and conferences, creation of an information and counseling points, extension of the educational offer in schools for foreigners, and establishing a forum for cooperation between institutions and organizations dealing with foreigners’ matters in the voivodship.
