The merger of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education and the Ministry of National Education is the result of changes in the structure of the government, announced by Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki already on September 30.
The new head of the Ministry of Education and Science is a lawyer, associated professor of legal sciences, professor of the Catholic University of Lublin (KUL).
In 2006, he presented his doctoral thesis titled “Principles of the rule of law and social justice in the systemic practice of the Third Polish Republic” at the Catholic University of Lublin. Five years ago, he was awarded the title of associated professor for his scientific achievements and the work “Economic freedom. The first pillar of the social market economy”. In 2020, he became a professor of the Catholic University of Lublin. Przemysław Czarnek specializes in constitutional law.
