In the latest list of the best universities in the world QS World University Rankings 2021, the University of Warsaw took 321st position and the Jagiellonian University in Kraków was classified on the 326st position.

The ranking also includes Warsaw University of Technology, which was in places 511-520.
The list contains 1002 best universities from around the world, including 15 high schools from Poland. Other Polish universities were in places 801-1000.

The first three places of the ranking, just like last year, was taken by universities from the United States: Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Stanford University and Harvard University. The best university in Europe is the University of Oxford on the fifth position.

QS WUR is one of the four most important global educational rankings next to Times Higher Education, Shanghai Ranking and U-Multirank.
