The PWR Racing Team operating at the Wrocław University of Science and Technology took fifth place in the combustion cars category in the Formula Student East competition at the Hungarian Hungaroring track.
– This is a great result for us. Competition in Hungary was much greater than in previous events, and the teams were even better prepared. The strongest teams from all over Europe met at Hungaroring. Our place in TOP5 proves that we are also among the leaders, despite the fact that our budget is much smaller – says Aleksandra Pośpiech from the PWR Racing Team.
The students launched the combustion engine RT11. The best results were achieved in dynamic competitions which brought the fifth place in the sum of points from all tasks. They did a great job in the Skid Pad (eighth on time), in which they took the fourth position, and in the Endurance race (the fastest 22 km route with a change of drivers in progress) where they came fifth.
