The best faculties of Polish universities providing education in 21 technical faculties were honored during the gala of the Ranking of Engineering Studies Perspektywy 2018.
12 indicators were grouped into six criteria to provide the assessment: prestige, graduates in the labor market, academic potential, scientific effectiveness and didactic potential. The ranking principles were developed by the Chapter chaired by Professor Michał Kleiber. The Chapter included experts in the field of higher education as well as representatives of various branches of industry.
Among others, in the Architecture category, the Chapter awarded the Architecture Department of the Warsaw University of Technology, in the Automation and Robotics – Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Robotics of the AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków, in the Biotechnology – Faculty of Chemistry at the Warsaw Polytechnic, in the Biomedical Engineering – Faculty category Electrical Engineering, Automatics, Computer Science and Biomedical Engineering of the AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków and in the Computer Science – Electronics and Information Technology Faculty at the Warsaw University of Technology.
