Employees of the University of Economics in Katowice have started the project REACCT – Reflecting Economics And Climate Change in Teaching. The project is funded by the Erasmus+ programme.
The main objective is to promote climate change education at universities of economics. The project activities include the preparation of innovative educational content, based on the results of discussion forums with the academic and business communities. The results are expected to contribute to support graduates in their preparation for new professional roles related to the green transition process and the pursuit of climate neutrality goals.
The project is implemented by: University of Akureyri (Iceland), University of Economics in Katowice, Technical University of Ostrava, Universita Degli Studi Di Bari Aldo Moro (Italy), Technical University of Kosice (Slovakia), University of Belgrade (Serbia) and UNEP/GRID-Warsaw (affiliated centre of UNEP – United Nations Environment Programme).
