Almost 2,000 foreign candidates wanted to study at the Wrocław University of Science and Technology this year. This is a record number of foreign applications. Record-breaking this year was also the interest in Polish and English language courses for foreigners.
About 550 foreign students inaugurated the academic year at the University of Science and Technology. Earlier, newly admitted foreign students learned Wrocław and the local university. As part of the National Agency for Academic Exchange grant, interested students participated in the city game, intercultural training and the so-called “Freshman academy” – meetings where they obtained useful information about life in Poland.
About 300 foreigners were accepted for full studies at the University – most from Ukraine, Belarus and Turkey. – As part of student exchange, under the Erasmus + program – over 250 people came to study for a semester or a year. They are students from Spain, Portugal, France and Turkey, Russia, China and Brazil.
