Professor Sławomir Wiak, rector of the Lodz University of Technology (PŁ), joined the group of experts of the European University Association (EUA). His candidacy was submitted by the Conference of Rectors of Polish Academic Schools (KRASP). At EUA he will be the only Polish representative.

The European University Association brings together over 800 universities and national rector conferences from 48 European countries. Its activities play a key role in science, research and innovation in higher education.

Expert groups have an important role that influences EUA cooperation with many other international organizations. Professor Sławomir Wiak will work in a team that deals with research and innovation strategies for smart specializations.
