Rector of the University of Life Sciences in Wrocław, Prof. Tadeusz Trziszka became a member of the Sector Council for Competence of the high-quality food sector operating at the Polish Agency for Industrial Development. The Council consists of representatives of scientific communities, entrepreneurs, producers, government and state institutions.

The Council is a forum for the exchange of information on the needs and requirements regarding the qualifications and competences of employees in the food production sector. The activities of its members are aimed at increasing the share of high-quality food in the market. The key is close cooperation between food producers and scientists, which aims to develop and implement new, employee education systems taught at every stage.

The Council constantly monitors legislative changes at the national and European Union levels, it also has the possibility to propose solutions developed in its own body to improve competences, and develops the Sectoral Qualifications Framework.
