-I hope that we will start the next academic year with the traditional inauguration on October 1, as we have become accustomed, but we must also be prepared for the negative epidemiological situation – said Prof. Marcin Pałys, rector of the University of Warsaw (UW).

Rector stated that some of the activities after the holidays can be continued remotely to maintain study, work and research conditions that ensure safety and health.

-Our priority is to protect the health of students, doctoral students and employees, which is why all activities are subordinated to the necessity to maintain sanitary regimes – added the UW rector and thanked all members of the UW community for their contribution to maintaining the continuity of the University’s operation despite the extraordinary circumstances caused by the coronavirus pandemic.
