Representatives of Germany’s leading universities affiliated to the DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) began their visit to Poland with a meeting with the authorities of the University of Wrocław (UWr). 

The delegates had the opportunity not only to learn about the plans and implementation of the broadly understood internationalisation of Wrocław’s university, but also to visit the most representative interiors of the main building, including the Mathematical Tower. Thanks to such visits, there is a chance to strengthen contacts between scientists, which will certainly result in joint projects and scientific exchanges of staff and students.  

The DAAD is an association of German universities, one of the world’s largest organisations supporting international academic exchange. Its main task is to support cooperation with foreign universities primarily through the exchange of students and researchers.
