The Redemptoris Missio Foundation together with the Clinic of Tropical and Parasitic Diseases of the Medical University of Poznań are inviting participants to the scientific and training conference Domesticate Tropics on 21 March. A group of outstanding experts will discuss a number of interesting topics, including tropical medicine, cultural differences and travel safety.

The conference will be devoted to the issues of tropical diseases, international public health and cultural and social issues in the area of ​​the global South.

Trips to the tropics are associated with many challenges, regardless of whether they are tourist, professionals or volunteers. The risk, however, concerns not only the health and safety of those leaving, but also whether they will be able to behave responsibly and consciously at the meeting point of cultures.
