The team of the University of Economics in Katowice “GoldenEye” won the national stage of the Global Management Challenge competition and will represent Poland during the competition for the World Championship in Business Management in Russia.

The Global Management Challenge is the world’s largest business simulation and an extensive strategic game based on gamification. Its participants are managers, specialists, students who play the role of a virtual company’s board. Their task is to manage the company so that it reaches the best financial result on the virtual market.

The project has been organized since 1980 in the form of nationwide on-line competitions in nearly 40 countries. In the world, the initiative gathered over half a million participants. In Poland, since 2000, it has already been attended by over 27 thousand people from companies and universities. Organized by BIGRAM S.A. Polish competition is one of the largest in the world.
