Researchers Dr Anna Mazurek-Kusiak, Dr Agata Kobyłka and Natalia Korcz from the Faculty of Agrobioengineering of the University of Life Sciences in Lublin and Dr Ewa Bernacka from the Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce implement the project “Researching and promoting the idea of Polishness and tradition regional in thematic villages of Eastern Poland”, under the program of the Minister of Education and Science “Science for Society”.
The project will be implemented by May 2024 and its aim is to study the promotion of the idea of Polishness and regional traditions in 13 thematic villages in 3 voivodeships of Eastern Poland.
The effects of the project will include guide-album of the thematic villages of Eastern Poland with additional attractions in the area, published in 4 languages (Polish, German, English, Ukrainian) and two scientific monographs: “Tradition and culture of the region and entrepreneurship in rural areas” and “Differences in patriotic attitudes inhabitants of theme villages and other rural areas”.
