Prof. Małgorzata Mańka from the Poznań University of Life Sciences, a full member of the Polish Academy of Sciences, has been awarded the prestigious title of ISPP Fellow by the International Society for Plant Pathology (ISPP).

The International Society for Phytopathology was founded in 1968. The aim of the ISPP is to promote the general development of phytopathology worldwide and to spread knowledge about plant diseases and plant health management. The Poznan researcher was recognised in recognition of her outstanding achievements within forest phytopathology and her leading role in the field of national and international phytopathology.

The Society periodically organises the International Congress of Phytopathology (ICPP), which this year took place on 25 August in Lyon (France), during which, in the presence of about 2400 phytopathologists from all over the world, Prof. Mańka received the prestigious award.
