Dr Krzysztof Szerenos from the Faculty of Physics, University of Bialystok (UwB) was awarded by the Polish Physical Society (PTF) for his PhD dissertation “Ultrafast nonthermal photo-magnetic recording in dielectrics”.
Dr Szerenos in his dissertation described a new method of ultrafast photomagnetic recording in thin dielectric layers. The supervisor of the work is Dr Andrzej Stupakiewicz, Prof. of Bialystok University.
This is not the first award for Dr. Krzysztof Szerenos. The researcher from Bialystok received this year’s Prime Minister Award for the best PhD dissertation. In April, he received the Medal of a Young Scientist awarded by the Warsaw Technological University.
