Dr Katarzyna Kosicka-Noworzyń, an Assistant Professor at the Department of Physical Pharmacy and Pharmacokinetics of the Medical University of Poznań, received a scholarship from the Kościuszko Foundation. The researcher will carry out a research project at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey.
During her six-month stay in the United States, Dr Katarzyna Kosicka-Noworzyń will conduct research on the pharmacokinetics of drugs in obese people. The internship will be supervised by Dr Leonid Kagan from the Department of Pharmaceutics, Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy.
The Kościuszko Foundation promotes Polish-American cooperation through international exchange in the fields of education, science and culture. Every year, the Foundation offers outgoing-stay scholarships and grants to Poles for studies, research and / or teaching at universities or other institutions providing higher education in the United States.
