Dr Piotr Donizy from the Medical University of Wrocław became one of finalists of the Supertalents in Medicine 2020 competition organized by the journal Pulse of Medicine. He was awarded for his research on melanoma. The jury ranked him fourth.

Dr Piotr Donizy is a histopathologist who works at the University Clinical Hospital and the Department of Pathomorphology and Cytological Oncology at the Medical University in Wroclaw. On a daily basis, he diagnoses and indirectly decides on the further clinical procedures for patients with tumors and proliferative changes of unclear nature, discovered by physicians of various specialties.
The main idea of the competition organized since 2012 is to award the leaders of the young generation of doctors who, thanks to their knowledge, skills and predispositions will set the tone for Polish medicine and the health care system in the coming years.
