Dr Eng. Marek Wasilewski from the faculty of production engineering and logistics of the Opole University of Technology received a three-year scholarship of the Minister of Science and Higher Education awarded to outstanding young scientists. He will receive PLN 5,390 per month.

Dr Eng. Marek Wasilewski conducts research in a common area of ​​environmental, mining and energy engineering – one of ten disciplines that will be evaluated in connection with Act 2.0. In his activity, he focuses on selected issues of manufacturing process engineering and the use of numerical modeling and computer simulations in the optimization processes of selected process engineering devices.

In this context, the personal success of the scientist and the opportunities offered to him by the scholarship will also translate into an increase in the Opole university’s opportunity to maintain the status of technological university.
