Dr Eng. Alina Matuszak-Flejszman, Associate Professor of Poznań University of Economics, became a member of the international jury in the EMAS Awards competition. During this year’s competition, the jury will award achievements of organizations that demonstrate a long-term holistic vision of their development in accordance with the principles of sustainable development.
The Eco-Management and Audit Scheme (EMAS) is an EU environmental certification system. The European EMAS Award is the most prestigious prize awarded by the European Commission to organizations involved in environmental management.
Dr Eng. Alina Matuszak-Flejszman is deputy dean of the Faculty of Commodity Science at the Poznań University. She deals with quality management, environmental management and occupational health and safety management, as well as methods and techniques for solving problems in the system approach to management.
