Dr Eng. Robert Cieślak, head of the Department of Technical Sciences of the State Higher Vocational School in Konin, joined the Polish Offshore Wind Sector Deal – Development of Personnel and Education System group, established by the Ministry of Climate and Environment.

Offshore wind energy is a new branch of the economy, which is to ensure economic development based on renewable energy in future. The group will deal with issues related to the involvement of higher education and professional staff for the wind industry, retraining employees for its needs, as well as activating women to work in the wind sector. These objectives will be implemented in thematic subgroups.

Dr Cieślak participates in the work on the preparation of curricula for high schools and universities, including the development of educational paths in the field of wind energy and verification of market demand for materials mapping the possibilities and the optimal scope of education.
