Kamil Stępniak, PhD student at the Department of Constitutional Law, Faculty of Law, University of Bialystok (UWB), developed theoretical assumptions of the world’s first artificial intelligence system actively supporting the work of lawyers.
“System of Artificial Legal Intelligence (Salin)” is a software that will be able to replace a lawyer in much of his intellectual work. For example, the system will independently reconstruct the legal status, analyze the client’s office situation and propose a solution to a given legal problem.
By creating the assumptions of the system, Kamil Stępniak took into account the possibilities of IT tools available on the market. The next stage of work will be the creation of specific algorithms and programs. The PhD student hopes that he will be able to obtain funds for his idea.
