Dr Katarzyna Bilińska-Reformat, Prof. University of Economics in Katowice and the head of the Department of Marketing Management and Tourism received the Science for Business award from the Manager monthly journal for practical and effective combination of science and business.

The award was given to Dr Bilińska-Reformat and Dr. Mateusz Grzesiak from the WSB Academy in Dąbrowa Górnicza for creating pioneering and tangible benefits of business solutions in the field of management and marketing sciences for the sector of small and medium enterprises and setting new development directions for the training and consulting industry.

The prize winners are the best proof that a practical and effective combination of science and business is not only necessary, but also possible and beneficial for both parties.
