Dr Patrycja Klimas, Wrocław University of Economics became a finalist of the 21st Science Awards competition of the Polityka weekly. The finalist works at the Department of Advanced Research in Management. She conducts research in the area of strategic management, mainly related to building a lasting, relational competitive advantage.
In her research activity, she focuses on inter-organizational cooperation, in particular on coopetition, i.e. the cooperation of competitors. She is a member of the European Academy of Management, Strategic Management Society, European Group for Organizational Studies and International Society for Professional Innovation Management.
In February, she received the Award of the Minister of Education and Science for outstanding scientific achievement, mainly for the scientific monograph “Relationships of co-creating innovations in ecosystems. Context of the gaming ecosystem”, in June she won the competition organized by the National Science Center Opus 20.
