Professor Dr Eng. Czesława Rosik-Dulewska was appointed as the deputy chairman of the Council of Superintendents of the 4th Department of Technical Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences (PAN). The scientist of the University of Opole (UO) has also become a member of the Audit Committee of the Polish Academy of Sciences and a member of the Presidium of the Katowice PAN Branch.
Professor Rosik-Dulewska is the director of the Institute and the head of the Department of Waste and Water and Wastewater Management at the Institute for Environmental Protection and Development at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Technology of the University. She has over 265 published scientific items. Since 2016 she has been a correspondent member of the Polish Academy of Sciences.
Her scientific interests include principles and requirements related to the natural management of mineral and organic waste, selection of waste neutralization and recovery processes based on their physical and chemical properties, biological reclamation of landfills, including mainly energy and municipal waste.
