Publication “Modeling of scientific information retrieval process. Strategies and interactions” authored by Dr Arkadiusz Pulikowski from the Institute of Library and Information Science of the University of Silesia won the academic prize of the Polish Librarians Association.
The book, which was published by the university publishing house, was awarded in the category of theoretical, methodological and source works.
Award of the Polish Librarians Association has been awarded since 1983 and aims to promote authors whose works are essential for the development of theory and improvement of library and information practice in the librarian community. 11 publications in 4 categories were submitted for this year’s competition, and awards were received during the Warsaw Book Fair.
