Dr Agnieszka Widera-Wysoczańska from the Institute of Psychology of the University of Wrocław received the prestigious Cornelia B. Wilbur Award to the best researchers and clinicians in the field of diagnosis and therapy of trauma and dissociation.
The prize of Cornelia B. Wilbur is awarded by the International Society for the Study of Trauma and Dissociation (ISSTS, USA) for outstanding clinical contribution to the treatment of dissociative disorders. The winners of the prize are researchers and clinicians who became the greatest experts in that field.
Dr Widera-Wysoczańska holds a European psychotherapist certificate issued by the European Association of Psychotherapy; she is a specialist in the prevention of domestic violence and a specialist in the post-traumatic stress therapy. Dr Widera-Wysoczańska is the author of training programs on the diagnosis and therapy of children and adults after the trauma of sexual violence.
