Researcher of the University of Wrocław to give opinions on the idea of ​​establishing research centers in Germany

Two large research centers will be established in German Saxony, adjacent to Lower Silesia. One of the experts who will give opinion on the ideas for their creation will be Dr Patrycja Matusz, University of Wrocław. This is a considerable distinction and proof that the University of Wrocław is becoming an increasingly important scientific player in this part of the region.

Two new large-scale research centers will be established in Saxony in the coming years. Saxony and Berlin will allocate EUR 170 million annually for this purpose. The combination of excellent scientific research with innovative concepts of cooperation with the industry creates an attractive environment for the creation of new companies and the establishment of enterprises.

The Federal Ministry of Education and Research and the Free State of Saxony are announcing a competition for the content and structure of the centers “Knowledge creates prospects for the region!”. Dr Patrycja Matusz is joining 15 people jury, deciding about the final shape of these research centers.
