More than 1,200 respondents assessed the state and development potential of the city and the factors determining its image. The results of this research also show changes in the perception of Rzeszów related to the war in Ukraine.

Rzeszów is perceived by the majority of respondents as a dynamic and developing city, with great scientific and economic potential. It is also highly rated for its well-maintained infrastructure and general level of safety, which is an important asset for attracting both investors and residents.

More than half of the respondents believe that the groups significantly influencing the city’s development are students, investors and entrepreneurs. This may suggest that education and business play a key role in the further development of Rzeszów.

Researchers and students from the University of Rzeszów also examined the impact of the war in Ukraine on the perception of Rzeszów. According to respondents, compared to the situation before the war in Ukraine, Rzeszów has become a city that is more recognisable in Poland and abroad, more politically significant, and more open to migrants.
