The problems of transport and transport infrastructure were discussed during the 11th International Scientific Conference “Transport Problems 2019” and the 8th Young Scientists Symposium. The symposium was held at the Faculty of Transport of the Silesian University of Technology, while the conference was also held in Katowice and Bochnia.

The conference brought together a record number of participants – scientists from 23 countries, including several from Asia, Africa and South America, presented and published their scientific articles. The plenary session was attended by scientists from Bulgaria, Georgia, Azerbaijan and Poland, as well as representatives of the Police Traffic Department and the Provincial Road Transport Inspection.

Participants of the conference and the symposium showed presentations related to transport as well as to transport infrastructure and the change of the classification of scientific disciplines. Both events, complementing each other, have created a comprehensive offer of exchange of scientific ideas.
