On November 23, 2018, the Lublin Technological University hosted Japanese scientists as part of the Erasmus + program. Professor Narumol Matsuyama of Saga University and Professor Nobuya Hayashi of Kyushu University gave a series of lectures on the generation and diverse applications of low-temperature plasma as well as water resource management and hydropower.
During their stay in Lublin, scientists from Japan also took part in the meeting of the Institute of Electrotechnics and Electrotechnology, where they presented their research results.
Dr Joanna Pawłat, MSc. Michał Kwiatkowski, MSc. Piotr Terebun and the guests conducted joint research on the applications of a non-thermal plasma for the treatment of plant material in the Department of Plasma Technologies and Renewable Energy.
