Researchers from the Institute of Ecology and Bioethics in cooperation with the Center of Information Technology of Humanities and Social Sciences of the Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw printed a 3D copy of the oldest skeleton found in Poland, the so-called Man from Janowice, which is over 6,500 years old.

As the Warsaw University informed, the aim of the undertaking is to preserve a valuable finding for future generations and provide the opportunity to present it at museum exhibitions.

The project was created thanks to the cooperation of the State Archaeological Museum, Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw and the 3D Master company and was financed from the National Science Center funds as part of the “Old material with new methods” program.
