Researchers at the University of Economics in Poznan (UEP) took first place (ex aequo with researchers from the University of Szczecin) in a competition for a scientific paper during the 7th Capital Market Congress. The jury of the competition also awarded two distinctions – both for researchers from the Poznań university.
The authors of the award-winning paper “Using the market width to predict rates of return from domestic and industry stock indices” are: Prof. Andreas Karathanasopoulos (University of Dubai), Dr. Przemysław Grobelny, Mateusz Mikutowski and Dr Adam Zaremba from UEP.
The competition awards were also received by Dr Paweł Śliwiński, Prof. Associate of UEP and Maciej Łobza MA for the article “Can socially responsible investing be financially sound” and Dr Paweł Śliwiński, and Dr Piotr Zygmanowski for “Indicators for measuring the development level of companies qualified for the NewConnect Focus segment”.
